[Lofarpwg] Pulsar Monitoring EoI for LOFAR 2.0 - Invitation and Google doc

Dear All,

Apologies if you receive this email more than once.

The scientific community of LOFAR users was invited to submit Expressions
of Interest (EoI) in the context of the upcoming upgrade of LOFAR, LOFAR 2.0
For this, I am writing the "Pulsar Monitoring EoI", that focuses on
pulsar-related science topics that require long-term, repeated observing
campaigns, such as, e.g., DM noise characterization for PTAs or studies
regarding the temporal evolution of pulsar's emission processes.

I'd like to invite you to *opt-in* the EoI if you are interested in one of
the science topics that we are proposing.

Please have a look at this Google doc, where I have started working on the
concept and text for the EoI (I will then transfer everything in an
overleaf):

As you can see, there are six science topics (for now). They are NOT
written in stone, so we can discuss changes or additions. Please, add your
name to the topics that you are interested in, and feel free to add text to
them or to any of the "Open questions" (use the "suggestion" mode!).
Please also indicate if there is a science topic (or more) that you are
willing to lead (i.e., to take care more in detail for the time being).
We aim to find a 'leader' per science topic (in fact, some science topics
are currently not included because no one has mentioned an interest in
them).

The deadline to submit the EoI is the 3rd of December, and we have a page
limit of 10.
