It has been a busy past month, with the LOFAR Family Meeting (LFM2024) in the week of June 3rd, and the inauguration of the new LOFAR-ERIC on June 10th. There were lots of interesting talks at these meetings. I gave an introduction to EuroFlash during LFM2024 as well as a general introduction to LOFAR during the ERIC inauguration, which was attended by about 60 international visitors from the LOFAR partner countries. Caterina gave a very nice talk about PURR during the LFM2024 and Ziggy gave a very nice talk introducing fast transients at low radio frequencies.

As many of you already know, the process of allocating the LOFAR2.0 Large Programmes is delayed, but it is progressing under the leadership of a.i. LOFAR Director Wim van Cappellen. I think we'll have a clearer view of the exact timeline after the summer.

Commissioning of LOFAR2.0 continues to ramp up and will be in full swing after the summer.
